SANGERVILLE – Joseph Maurice Pullyard Jr., 58, died Feb. 27, 2005, at his home in Sangerville. He was born Oct. 27, 1946, in Dover-Foxcroft, a son of Joseph and Inez (Simmons) Pullyard Sr. He served in the U.S. Navy on the U.S. Keppler during the Vietnam War. After the service he worked at Bath Iron Works and for Dexter Shoe Company. In 1974, he moved to Alaska, where he worked as a civil engineer at Elmendorf Air Force Base, until his retirement in 1993. He is survived by his wife, Cindy (Werth) Pullyard of Sangerville; his father of Sangerville; two sons, Boyd Pullyard of Alaska, and Todd Pullyard of Texas; a brother, Charles Pullyard and his wife, Louise, of Ontario, Canada. He will be sadly missed by many special friends and relatives. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, at the First Universalist Church of Sangerville with Larry Lamond officiating. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations to the First Universalist Church of Sangerville Food Bank. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, Guilford.
