BANGOR – Joseph Ross Mavor, 40, passed away unexpectedly Nov. 11, 2004, at his residence. He was born April 29, 1964, in Bangor son of Nancy (Pelletier) Dunn and Joseph Ross Mavor Sr. Ross grew up in Milford and graduated from Old Town High School. He had many passions in his life, most importantly his love for our Lord. He was a wonderful cook and enjoyed sharing this gift with his family and friends. Most recently, Ross has been proudly attending full time classes at Husson College and was elected to the student senate. Ross had a heart of gold and he cherished his family and friends especially the love for his fianc?e, Susan McDonald. He was the nucleus for family gatherings and we all welcomed his special sense of humor. He was sensitive to all God’s creations, evident by the care he gave to his beloved pet cats. He will be greatly missed by his fianc?e, Susan McDonald of Bangor; mother, Nancy Pelletier Dunn and Albert Dunn of Old Town; father, Joseph Ross Mavor and Gloria Mavor of Port St. John, Fla.; step-daughter, Kimberly of Bangor; two sisters, Theresa Thibeault of Old Town, and Michelle Castonguay of Hampden; two brothers, Stephen Mavor of Hyannis, Mass., and Albie Dunn Jr. of Old Town; his cherished nieces and nephews, Chris Thibeault, Scott Thibeault, Tracy Fortin, A.J. Fortin, Jeffrey Castonguay Jr., Joey Mavor, Stephanie Mavor, Jeremy Mavor and Emma Dunn. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Sunday, at the Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St. Old Town. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday, at Holy Family Parish in Old Town with the Rev. Rudolph Leveille Celebrant. Friends and Family are invited to the Holy Family Parish Hall immediately following The Mass for a luncheon and continued fellowship.
