HOLDEN and ISLAND FALLS Judy (Howard) Prunty, 60, passed peacefully Aug. 3, 2007, at home. She was born Oct. 22, 1946. Judy married Donald Prunty Aug. 30, 1985. Don was taking care of her when she passed, as they have each other for the past 21 years. She is survived by her husband, Donald; two sons, Ronald Davis Jr. of Eddington and Steven Davis of Auburn; a stepson, Kyle Prunty of Virginia; three very special grandchildren, Jason, Erica and Jessica; three brothers, Philip and Shirley of Holden, Robert and Erlene of New Hampshire and Steven and Cathy of Carmel; four sisters, Joan Porter and husband, Richard, of Island Falls, Joyce Merry of Sherman, Dorothy Rand and husband, Stuart, of Sherman and Mary Harris and husband, Peter, of Connecticut; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Joe and Anna Howard. The family thanks some very special people in Judy’s life, Mr. and Mrs. Linn, Nancy, Lena, Paula and New Hope Hospice for all that you’ve done to make Judy’s last year special. At Judy’s request, there will be no services. For those who wish, donations in Judy’s memory may be made to New Hope Hospice of Eddington.
