JULIA A. LIMBERIS BANGOR – Julia A. Limberis, 84, died May 21, 2004, at a Bangor healthcare center. She was born Nov. 12, 1919, in Bangor, the daughter of Peter and Angelike (Libbaris) Limberis. Julia was a 1940 graduate of Bangor High School and worked for A & P Stores for years. She was also a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Bangor. Surviving are one brother, George Limberis and his wife, Mary, of Bangor; one sister-in-law, Paula Conides of Florida; one brother-in-law, Louis Barbalias of Bangor; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her three sisters, Sylvia Dwyer, Sandra Barbalias and Anna Haliotis; and three brothers, Charles, John and Ted Limberis. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Monday, May 24, at Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor, where a Trisagion service will be held at 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 25, at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 90 Sanford St., Bangor, with the Rev. Adam Metropoulos, presbyter, officiating. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery, Bangor. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. George Greek Orthodox Memorial Fund, 90 Sanford St., Bangor.
