FORT KENT – Juliette (Voisine) Babin, 95, diet Oct. 21, 2004 at a Frenchville healthcare facility. She was born May 23, 1909, in Fort Kent, the daughter of Louise and Alice (Michaud) Voisine. Juliette was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne, VFW Auxiliary, and R.S.V.P., all of Fort Kent. She also worked for the Good Shepard Shop for several years. She is survived by three daughters, Simone and her husband, Fern Paradis, of Plainville, Conn., Mae and her husband, Roland Gendron, of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Rinette and her husband, Tony Yanez, of Port Richy, Fla.; three sons, Patrick Babin of Kemptville, Ont., Joseph and his wife, Betty Babin, of Plainville, Conn., and James and his wife, Georginna Babin, of Fort Kent; 27 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; sev-eral nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her brother, Conrad Voisine of Fort Kent; and a sister, Janet Brown of Vernon, Conn. In addition to both her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Alvey Babin in 1974, and her son, Kenneth Babin in 1995. Friends may call 7-9 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 24 and 8:30 a.m., Monday, Oct. 25, at the Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home in Fort Kent, until time of services. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m., Monday, Oct. 25, at the St. Louis Catholic Church in Fort Kent with the Rev. Bill Labbe officiating.
