HOULTON – Natalie S. Campbell, 92, passed away Oct. 20, 2004 at a local healthcare facility. She was born Feb. 24, 1912, at Cary, the daughter of Hayward and Myrtle (Wilcox) Sowers. Natalie was a life-long resident of Houlton; a very long- term member of the Christina & Missionary Alliance Church until its closing several years ago and a member of the Shiretown Baptist Church. She had a great many friends in her life. She was prized for her excellent cooking and loved nothing better than to provide a meal for a large group of friends. She is survived by her son, William A. McCready, of Hartford, Conn.; two grandchildren, Colleen and Sean; the much-beloved aunt of Avis Arnold and her husband, Bruce, of Pa. and their children, Cathy Arnold of Boston, Mass., David Arnold of West Chester, Pa.; other close family members, Jeanne Cannata of Boston, Mass.; Gina Arnold and children Zachary and Tori; Terry Miller of New Hampshire; Janice Earle of Vermont; many loving friends, Mary Jane Sinclair; Michael and Jennifer Brennan and their children, Liam and Natalie; Patti Hend-erson; Pastor James Gardner and Rebecca of the Shiretown Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her parents; and her husband, Wendell W. Campbell in 1981. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22, at the Dunn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, at the funeral home with Pastor James Gardner officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. Gifts may be made in Natalie’s memory to the Shiretown Baptist Church, care of Dunn Funeral Home, 11 Park St., Houlton.
