GULF STREAM, Fla. – Kath-arine Bolton Rodgers, wife of Christopher R.P. Rodgers, died Friday, Feb. 23, 2007, after a long illness at their home. She was born Jan. 28, 1917, in New York City. A prominent fundraiser for charitable institutions in Boston, she was a founder of the Ellis Memorial Antiques Show and owner of antique stores in Boston and Brooklin. After living in Princeton, N.J., and Pinehurst, N.C., she and her husband retired to Gulf Stream, Fla., in 1986. She is survived by her loving husband, Christopher R.P. Rodgers; two daughters, Arrel P. Linderman of Boston and Ann B. Parson of Padanaram, Mass., three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and 10 of her husband’s children. Memorial services are to be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Delray Beach, Fla. A second memorial service is planned in July at St. Francis by the Sea, Blue Hill. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Blue Hill Heritage Trust, P.O. Box 222, Blue Hill, ME 04614.
