BREWER – Katrina M. Sowards, 36, went home to be with the Lord and her grandmother, Muriel, Oct. 8, 2003. Her passing was unexpected. She was born Feb. 14, 1967. She will be dearly missed by her husband, Craig; and her two sons, Travis and Michael of Brewer; her parents, Sheila and Donald Leighton of Brewer; her father, Ralph and Doris Phillips of Bangor; paternal grandmother, Kay Hudson of Pittsfield; two brothers, Ralph Phillips Jr. and his wife, Lisa of New Hampshire and D.J. Leighton of Brewer; brother-in-law, Chester V. Sowards of Brewer; a nephew, Cole D. Phillips of New Hampshire, special friend, Jamie, many aunts, uncles, many, many friends and her beloved baby. We love you. A celebration of Katrina’s life will be held 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, 2003, at 3875 Union St., Levant.
