BELFAST – The family of Ken Boulier, 82, sadly informs you of his passing July 24, 2007, at Blue Hill Memorial Hospital. He was born Dec. 2, 1924, in Westfield, son of Thomas E. Boulier Sr. and Fern (Drost) Boulier. He was a graduate of Coin Electrical School & Industrial Technology, Boston. He was a master electrician, who ran his own electrical business, Waldo Electric, for 30 years. Ken served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II. He was past master of Belfast Masonic Lodge AF & AM No. 24, had his 50-year pin and was a member of Anah Temple Shriners, Bangor. Ken enjoyed playing pool, his vegetable garden, summers at Pitcher Pond and being out in nature. Ken had a kind and caring heart and loved spending time with his family and friends. Ken was predeceased by his parents; and a brother, Lyle Boulier, who was killed during the invasion of Normandy in World War II. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Winifred “Winnie” Boulier of Waldo; children, Richard Boulier and wife, Michelle, of Waldo, Elaine Redman and husband, Larry, of Castine, Donna Bean and husband, Greg, of Brooks, Kenneth Boulier II and wife, Terri, of Freedom, and Robert Boulier of Belfast; grandchildren, Jim Stacey II and wife, Kelly, Brian Stacey and wife, Mary, Shawn Bean and wife, Bobbie Jackson, Greg Bean, and Kory Boulier; and great-grandchild, Jesse Stacey. Private graveside services will be held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Freedom. A celebration of life will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, at Waldo County Shrine Club, Northport Avenue, Belfast. Those who wish are encouraged to bring a story or memory to share.
