BRADLEY – Kenneth Salisbury, 80, died unexpectedly May 14, 2007, at his camp in Otis. He was born Nov. 27, 1926, in Philadelphia, the son of Frederick and Beatrice K. (Moore) Salisbury. Ken served his country during World War II in the U.S. Navy and in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of Star in the East Lodge No. 60 AF & AM of Old Town, Anah Shrine and Elks Lodge No. 1287, Old Town. Ken retired from San Jose State University. He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret (LaBree) Martin Salisbury. He is survived by a son, Dana Salisbury and wife, Crystal, of Wisconsin; a daughter, Christina Van Dyke of California; stepchildren, Robert “Bob” Martin and wife, Marie, of Bradley, Jim Martin and wife, Cha, of Washington, Tom Martin and wife, Ann, of Topsham, Tim Martin of Washington; brother, Galen Salisbury and wife, Gloria, of Veazie; a sister, Gloria Hopkins and husband, William, of Holden; many grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; and companion, Sylvia Beylerian. A graveside memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, May 18, at Evergreen Cemetery, Bradley, with Pastor Ronald Chaffee officiating. A memorial reception will be after the service at the Old Town Elks Lodge, 37 Fourth St., Old Town.
