MILLINOCKET – Lawrence “Larry” R. Mattall, 47, passed away unexpectedly early Friday morning, Aug. 17, 2007, in Bangor. Larry was born June 28, 1960, in Millinocket, the son of the late Lawrence “Red” and Donna (O’Brikis) Mattall and stepson of Mildred (Voisine) Mattall of Millinocket. Larry graduated from Stearns High School in 1980. He was a free spirit with a kind and loving heart, who met many friends along his way in life. He will be remembered as a loving son, uncle, brother and cousin to many. He leaves behind his stepmother, Mildred; sister, Lisa Mattall Lewis and husband, James, of Ridgedale, Mo., and their children, Joshua and Christina Lewis; brother, Eugene Mattall and wife, Melissa, also of Missouri; step-brothers, Dana Voisine of Millinocket and Mark and Lorie Voisine and family of Medway; a stepsister, Debora (Voisine) Rountree and husband, Don, of Millinocket and Kentucky; his uncles, Kenneth Mattall, and Dave Burleigh of Millinocket; and many cousins. Larry was predeceased by his grandparents, as well as several aunts and uncles. Graveside services will be conducted 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 31, at Millinocket Cemetery, Millinocket, with the Rev. Joel R. Cyr, pastor of St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Millinocket, officiating. Arrangements by Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor.
