VAN BUREN – Lillian Michaud, 92, died Oct. 26, 2004, at a Van Buren nursing home. She was born in St. Leonard, N.B., Canada, April 6, 1912, the daughter of Edmond and Annie (Lachance) Lapointe. She is survived by seven sons, Euclid Lapointe of Presque Isle, Joseph Michaud and his wife, Gerry, of Hartford, Conn., Norman Michaud of Scottsdale, Ariz., Michael Michaud and his wife, Kathy, of Madison, N.Y., John Michaud and his wife, Linda, of Hermon, Roger “Sky” Michaud, also of Hermon, Richard “Babe” Michaud and his wife, Diane, of Van Buren; three daughters, Carmella Michaud of West Hartford, Conn., Ann Marie Speel and her husband, Rodney of Enfield, Conn., and Rebecca Michaud of Machias; two stepsons, Frank Michaud of West Hartford, Conn. and Guy Michaud of Clinton, Mass.; four stepdaughters, Hermance Daigle of Newington, Conn., Gilberte Snowman of Tennessee, Patricia Dionne of Eagle River, Ark., and Josephine Michaud of Van Buren; two sisters, Carmen Clark and Fernande Morneault, both of Montreal, Quebec; nine grandchildren, nine great-grand-children, 26 stepgrandchildren and several great-stepgrand-children. Lillian was predeceased by her husband, Gilbert Michaud in 1983; and by two stepsons, Herman Michaud and Ralph Michaud. Relatives and friends may call at the Ouellette-Thibault Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren, from 1 p.m. until time of service on Friday. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 3 p.m. Friday at the St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church, Van Buren. Committal service and interment will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Lille.
