HERMON – Robert Frances Burgess, 64, passed away after a brief illness, Dec. 2, 2004, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. He was born Dec. 12, 1939, in Bangor, the son of Gene Greene He graduated from Hermon High School. He worked in the Bangor area before moving to Florida in 1984. He moved back to Maine one year ago. He is survived by his mother, Gene Greene of Hermon; sons, Robert F. and wife, Trinity, of Ornville, Donald and wife, Betty, of Hermon; daughters, Lisa and husband, Brill, of California, Robin Tozier of Hermon; nine grandchildren, Cherish and Jeff Burgess of Ornville, Michelle and Ashley Burgess of Hermon, John, Brandy, Anne, Toby and Trevan Andrews of California; special aunts and uncles, Anna Bart of Levant, Lucille Cowallis of Bangor, Lindy and Marion Burgess of Hermon, Aileen and Steve Seguino of Bangor, Joan and Earl Orcutt of Eddington, Shirley Hurry of Florida, Ernestine Burgess of Levant and Phyllis Burgess of Hermon; and many cousins. He was predeceased by a son, Jeffery. Memorial service to be announced. A service of Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor.
