PENOBSCOT – Linda Marie Moon, 58, died unexpectedly March 26, 2006, at her home. Linda was a loving and caring person who devoted her life to her family and enjoyed life. Linda is survived by her husband of 42 years, Richard W. Moon; two daughters, Angela Cole and Callie Winters; son, Ruel Moon; grandchildren, Douglas Bates, Dustyn Bates, Ethan Cole, Alona Flannery, Brandi Winters, Ruel Moon Jr., Matthew Moon, Steven Moon, Michael Moon; two sisters, Irene Dodge, Sandra Warren; brother, Larry Astbury; several nieces and nephews. Linda was predeceased by her father, Henry Astbury; mother, Hortense Astbury; brother, David Astbury. Per her request, there will be no services. In lieu of cards and flowers, donations in her memory may be to the George Stevens Academy Athletic Fund, Blue Hill, ME 04614.
