MILBRIDGE and HOULTON – Eleanor (Beal) Miller died March 26, 2006, at an Ellsworth hospital. She was born Sept. 1, 1929, in Milbridge, the daughter of Ernest and Coris (West) Beal. Eleanor lived 50 years in Houlton, working for more than 30 years in the Houlton school department. She moved back to Milbridge four years ago to be near her family. Eleanor was predeceased by her husband of 30 years, Maurice “Sonny” Miller; three sisters, Marion Turner, Vergie Rummery and Hilda Parritt; one brother, Ernest Beal Jr. She is survived by her son, Dale B. Miller and his wife, Donna, of Columbia, S.C.; daughters, Karen Hutchins and her husband, Barry, of Milbridge, and Coris Miller of Falmouth Foreside; grandsons, Brent Hutchins and his wife, Lisa of Steuben, Kellen Hutchins and Nicky of Bradley; great-grandchildren, Elaine and Willis Hutchins of Steuben; a sister, Florence Chipman; a brother, Harvey Beal and his wife, Beverly, of Milbridge, a special niece, Martha Currier of Milbridge; several other nieces and nephews. In keeping with Eleanor’s wishes, there will be no service at this time. Those who wish may contribute in memory of Eleanor B.
