BENEDICTA – Livingston “Skip” Hartt, 66, died peacefully in his sleep Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008, after a long illness. He was born Feb. 19, 1941, the son of Wendell and Cecile (Cormier) Hartt. Skip was a graduate of Stearns High School, Class of 1960. He then went to work at Great Northern Paper Co., where he held numerous positions. After 15 years at the mill, he went into business for himself until his illness forced his retirement in 2006. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Bobby Jean; three sons, Randy and his wife, Bambi, Ricky and his wife, Carmen, and Ronald and his wife, Melissa; 11 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; his adopted son, Johnathan; his mother, Cecile; brother, Wes-ley; two sisters, Charlotte and Wanda; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many, many friends. He was predeceased by his father; his son, Robert; and two daughters-in-law, Cheryl and Charlotte. At Skip’s request, there will be no services at this time.
