BREWER – Lottie A. Parker, 94, wife of the late Earl “Barney” Parker, died Nov. 6, 2005, at a Bangor hospital, after a short illness. She was born Nov. 28, 1910, in Brewer, the daughter of Angus and Jessie (MacEwen) MacDonald. She was an active member of the Second Congregational Church of Brewer, past noble grand of Esther Rebekah Lodge No. 54 of Brewer, member of Vashti Rebekah Lodge No. 35 of Orrington, Past M.E.C. of Acadia Temple No. 93 Pythian Sisters, past worthy matron of Millwee Chapter No. 198 O.E.S., past president of American Legion Auxiliary of Veterans of World War I, State of Maine Member of Brewer Community Service Council. She is survived by her step-daughter, Sally and her husband, Frank Ring, of Orrington; stepson, William Parker of Florida; grandsons, Douglas George, Peter George and his wife, Jean, all of Rhode Island; stepgrandsons, Timothy Ring and his wife, Eleanora, Frank Ring, David, Jeffrey and Jonathan Parker; stepgranddaug-hters, Mary-Ellen and her husband, Phillip Hunt, Judy and her husband, Michael Emerson, and Jody and her husband, Bradley Dickey; two great- grandchildren and eight great-stepgrandchildren; nephew, William Nickerson; and niece, Margaret Esposito. Lottie will be missed by her friends at Heritage Colonial Circle and especially, Lillian Anderson. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Dorothy George; sister, Annie Nickerson; brother-in-law, William D. Nickerson; stepson, Frank Parker; son-in-law, Edward George and stepgrandson, Gregory Parker. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, at Brookings-Smith, Clark-Piper Chapel, 55 South Main St., Brewer. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, at the Second Congregational Church of Brewer with the Rev. Scott Cleveland, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Brewer. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at the church immediately following the interment.
