SINCLAIR – Louis Marquis, 92, died Nov. 14, 2007, at a Madawaska nursing home. He was born April 18, 1915, in St. Agatha, the son of Fred and Grac?ise (Bouchard) Marquis. He was a member of the Senior Citizens Club. He is survived by five daughters, Dorothy and her husband, Elbridge Fortin, of Fort Kent, Gertrude Daigle of St. Agatha, Joan Beaulieu of Van Buren, Carmen and her husband, Edmund, of Sinclair and Susan and her husband, David Ouellette, of Caribou; four sons and their wives, Nelson and Sharon Marquis of Connecticut, Gilford of Brunswick, Rino and Susan of Caribou and Rosaire and Susan of Brunswick; 11 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; a son-in-law, Edmund Sinclair of Sinclair; nine sisters, Hermance Albert of Sinclair, Jeannine Paradis of Frenchville, Alandine Brocher of Biddeford, Lucille Albert of Frenchville, Therese Gagnon of Caribou, Geraldine Hebert, Corinne Cyr, Marie May Pelletier and Marie Ange Cyr, all of Connecticut; and one brother, Norman Marquis of Connecticut. He was predeceased by his wife, Cecile Ouellette; one daughter, Linda; a son, Reno; and a brother, Adrian. Friends and relatives may call 6-8 p.m. Friday and 8:30 a.m. Saturday until time of services at Michaud Funeral Home, St. Agatha. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of the Valley Church, Sinclair, with the Rev. Philip Cyr officiating. Burial will be at St. Agatha Upper Cemetery.
