NEWPORT – Louise (Garrison) Hunnewell, 69, daughter of Harry Glen Garrison, deceased, and Marguerite (Briggs) Garrison of Newport, died of natural causes Friday, Nov. 12, 2004, at her home in Yarmouth. Louise was born on April 17, 1935, in Orono. She is survived by her mother, Margurite Garrison; brother, Harry Glen Garrison, of Michigan; sisters, Betty Reckards of Rockwood, and Barbara Flecher of Newport; daughters, Nevada Matt of Poland, Robin Beckwith of Yarmouth; sons, Russell Hunnewell of Atlanta, Ga. and Don Hunnewell of Atlanta, Ga.; two grandchildren. Louise and her husband Russell, traveled extensively, living in many parts of the U.S. They worked in the hospitality industry, working in and managing many hotels and restaurants. Louise was a very generous lady always willing to help anyone in trouble especially during the Holidays feeding anyone that was hungry. Louise had a talent for art, and in later years produced many pieces, which she usually gave away to the delight of the recipients. She will be greatly missed by friends and family. There will be two Memorial Services, one; 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, at Lindquist Funeral Home Yarmouth, and 11 a.m. Nov. 18, at the High St Congregational Church, Newport, the Rev. Al Worden will preside. Arrangements by Lindquist Funeral Home, 1 Mayberry Lane, Yarmouth.
