GREENVILLE – Mariette Mae (Pelletier) Sinclair, 57, died Aug. 23, 2007, in the company of loved ones at her residence, losing her fight with a long term illness. She was born April 29, 1950, in St. Francis, a daughter of Louis and Gilberte (Jandreau) Pelletier. Mariette was a 1969 graduate of Greenville High School and attended Thomas College, Waterville and Husson College, Bangor, where she was entered into the Who’s Who of American College Students. She was a long time member of the Business and Professional Womens Club and participated in many organizations in the Greenville community. She was instrumental in the reorganization of the Moosehead Lake Yacht Club. Mariette was a successful businesswoman throughout New England for more than 30 years, having previously co-owned Sinclair Forest Products, St. John; Sanders Real Estate, Greenville and numerous restaurants throughout New England. Most recently, Mariette was the respected co-owner of the Black Frog Restaurant and the owner of Great Eastern Clothing Co., Greenville. She was well loved and highly respected by all who knew her. She touched the hearts of many communities through her life and the integrity of her character. She will be missed and fondly remembered. She was the daughter of Louis and Jill Pelletier of Greenville; and is survived by sons, Stuart Sinclair of Manchester, N.H., and Aaron Sinclair of North Berwick; grandson, Owen Sinclair of Rangeley; and siblings, Chris Frederickson of Creston, Iowa, Bobbi Raasch of Pompano Beach, Fla., Jeff Pelletier of Salisbury, Conn., Jackie Redmond of Mesa, Ariz., Marty Pelletier of Holderness, N.H., and Carole Hahner of Independence, Mo.; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Monday at Crosby & Neal Chapel, located in the Masonic Building, Greenville. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 9 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Greenville, with the Rev. Richard Malo officiating.
