EASTPORT – Marion Eleanor Ward, 85, passed away peacefully July 18, 2007, surrounded by her loving family at a Calais hospital. Marion was born April 25, 1922, in Cambridge, Mass., the daughter of Edmond Nelson and Etta Jane (Taylor) Outhouse. She was the first wife of the late Keith Bennett Selwood Sr.; and the mother of Keith Bennett Selwood Jr. and Elaine Marion (Selwood) Roper. She was the wife of the late Richard Gray Ward of Massachusetts. Marion took pride in her family and her many years of nursing, and her various other employment experiences. She leaves behind her loving family of son and daughter, Keith Jr. and Elaine; granddaughter, Rhonda Kristen (Jones) Snider; and great-granddaughters, Kristen Rose Snider and Kayla Rochelle Snider; and special pet, Sasha. At the request of the family there will be no visiting hours and there will be a private memorial service at a later date. Arrangements are by Mays Funeral Home – Flagg Chapel, Eastport.
