BANGOR – Marjorie Bertha Simpson, 85, died July 22, 2007, in Dover-Foxcroft. She was born Nov. 29, 1921, in Bangor. She is survived by her children, Beatrice Gallant of Hudson, Charles Williams of Bangor, Roberta C. Ashey of Brooks, and Christina Bartlett of Auburn; lifelong companion, Frederick Stalter of Bangor; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her mother, Grace Beatrice Turner, she was predeceased by three children, Sherry Simpson, Ron-nie Stover, and Roger Ashey. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3, at Maine Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Civic Center Drive, Augusta. A service of Brookings-Smith, Bangor.
