CORINTH – Marjorie J. Ganeau, 70, the wife of Arthur Ganeau, died April 14, 2005, after an extended illness. She was born Dec. 12, 1934, in Parkman, the daughter of Archie and Marion (Vowels) Wallace. She was a graduate of Dexter High School, Class of 1952 and lived in Dexter most of her life. She had been an employee of Plummer Memorial Hospital and Dexter Shoe. She loved her dogs and was especially fond of flowers and gardening. Surviving in addition to her husband of Corinth are two daughters, Kimberly Spencer and her husband, Phillip and Kelly Lovell, both of Corinth; six grandchildren, Kevin Hartley, Nicole Spencer, Megan Spencer, Sarah Lovell, Melissa Lovell and Joshua Lovell, all of Corinth; two sisters, Marilyn Larrabee and her husband, Orland and Beverly Getchell, both of Dexter; four brothers, Linwood Wallace and his wife, Sherril, of Newport, Dale Wallace and his wife, Barbara, of Corinth, Raymond Wallace and his wife, Donna, of Dexter and Leonard Wallace and his wife, Carol, of Dexter; several nieces and nephews and her close friends, Clayton and Marion Carr of Dexter. Marjorie was predeceased by a sister, Joanne Pease. There are no scheduled services. Cremation arrangements are by the Thompson Funeral Home, 17 Hudson Road, Corinth.
