MARTIN G. LEVESQUE MILLINOCKET – Martin G. Levesque, 83, died Friday, Aug. 4, 2006, at a Bangor hospital. He was born March 26, 1923, in St. Joseph, New Brunswick, the son of Wellee and Marie (Beaulieu) Levesque. Martin worked at Great Northern Paper Mill in Millinocket for 37 years, working in many areas of the mill. He was a veteran of the Canadian Army during World War II. He drew much enjoyment from hunting and fishing. Martin is survived by his wife of 44 years, Jeannette (Couturier) Levesque of Millinocket; a son, Terry Levesque and Laurie of Casco; a daughter, Lisa Levesque of Charlotte, N.C.; a sister, Dorilla Lavoie of St. Basile, New Brunswick; three brothers, Conrad Levesque and his wife, Grace, of Madawaska, Gerard Levesque and his wife, Lucia, of St. Basile, New Brunswick and Harris Levesque and his wife, Raymonde, of Edmundston, New Brunswick; four sisters-in-law, Lucienne Levesque of Edmundston, New Brunswick, Rina Levesque of Madawaska, Yvette Caron and Gilberte Couturier of Edmund-ston, New Brunswick; many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Martin was predeceased by four brothers, Allen, Maurice, Byron and Ino. Friends are invited to visit with the family 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the R.L. Bouchard Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack St., Millinocket. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8, at the St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 112 Maine Ave., Millinocket, with the Rev. Joel Cyr, pastor, presiding.
