MILLINOCKET – Mary Elaine Hale went to be with the lord and beloved husband on March 11, 2004, in Puyallup, Wash. Mary was born Sept. 27, 1940, in Millinocket, the daughter of Arthur and Bertha Moscone. She was the devoted wife to her husband of 37 years, Albert E. Hale, who passed away on Nov. 17, 2000. She will be remembered for her love of her family, her generosity, and her faith, which helped her overcome many physical difficulties in her life. She is survived by her three sons, Everett Hale and his wife, Penny, of Millinocket, John Hale and his wife, Cynthia, of Tacoma, Wash., Paul Hale of Brewer; five sisters, Shirley, Jackie, Anna, Betty, and Bertha; three brothers, Robert, James, and Michael; and eight grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers, Richard and Arthur, Jr. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 24, 2004, at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Millinocket.
