ORLAND – Mary Elizabeth (Keyes) Mann, 87, died May 1, 2005, in Brewer, after a long illness. She was born Oct. 6, 1917, in Bucksport, the daughter of Daniel and Lizzie (Houston) Keyes. Elizabeth graduated from Bucksport High School, in the first class at the Walter Gardner High School. She was an accomplished seamstress and quilter, and in her younger years was active in the Order of Eastern Star. Elizabeth especially enjoyed her visits from the neighborhood children, with a special place in her heart for Bruce and Jeff. She is survived by her son, Reginald Mann and his wife, Carol, of Lamoine, and her daughter, Marjorie Nightingale, of Bucksport; five grandchildren, Frank Mann and his wife, Karen, of Florida, Teresa Rohner of Lamoine, Gary Mann and his wife, Joni, of Florida, Lorrinda Connolly and her husband, John, of Bucksport, LuAnn Pinsky and her husband, Gregg, of Massachusetts.; seven great-grandchild-ren, Robert, Leanne, Connor, Sam, Noelle, Jordan and Kristen; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Lawrence Mann; her brother’s, Russell, J. Fred and Raymond; her sister, Eleanor Clark. Graveside services will be held 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2005, at the Oak Grove Cemetery, Orland, with Pastor Peter Remick officiating. Donations may be made in her memory to the Salvation Army, 65 South Park St., Bangor, ME 04401. Arrangements by the Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home, 28 Elm St., Bucksport.
