ROCKWOOD – Mary F. “Mainey” Vraux, 83, died March 1, 2007, at C.A. Dean Hospital, Greenville. She was born May 29, 1923, in Charlestown, Mass., daughter of Charles and Mary (McLaughlin) Doherty. She was a waitress for many years at the Parker House, Boston and later owned and operated the Lobster Pools at Logan Airport. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Reginald Vraux Sr. of Rockwood; four sons, Reginald Vraux Jr. of Winthrop, Mass., Richard and his wife, Kathleen, of Raymond, Robert and his wife, Tammy, of Rockwood, and Ronald and his wife, Eileen, of Raymond, N.H.; six grandchildren, Wesley, Justin, Vanessa, Emily, Terry and Greg; two sisters, Agnes Egan of Charlestown, Mass., and Rose Murphy of Dedham, Mass.; many nieces and nephews. Mary was a dear friend of Laura Gallagher of Billerica, Mass. A memorial Mass will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, March 10, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Greenville, with the Rev. Richard Malo officiating. Spring burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Rockwood.
