MACHIASPORT – Mary L. Foss, 73, passed away Nov. 15, 2005, at Oceanview Nursing Home, in Lubec, after an extended illness. She was born April 21, 1932, in Cutler, the daughter of the late Melvin and Gladys Ramsdell. She is survived by three children, daughter, Tina Inman, and her husband, Scott, of Brunswick, son, Rodney Foss of Virginia Beach, Va., daughter, Donna Goldstein of Georgia; six grandchildren, Tara and Derek Inman, Elizabeth and Alyson Foss, Charlie Goldstein and Leola; two great-grandchildren, Hayley and McKenzie; sisters, Ina Scoville and husband, Nard and Morna Hood; and several nieces and nephews. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed by her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Alex Foss; two brothers, Howard and Henry Ramsdell; and two sisters, Leola Roberts and Tess Prescott. Visiting hours will take place 6-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, at Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, 6 Cooper St., Machias, where a funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, officiated by Pastor Bill Holmes.
