BANGOR – Mary (Eugley) Rolland, 76, wife of the late Joseph W. Rolland, died Jan. 16, 2006, at a local healthcare center. She was born April 18, 1929, in New York, the daughter of Frank and Frances (Belyea) Eugley. Mary attended schools in Maine and Massachusetts. She was a former member of the Junior League of Houlton and a Cub Scout leader. Mary was a former active member of the Ladies Aid of the Forest Avenue Congregational Church of Bangor. Surviving are five children, James A. Rolland and his wife, Velma, of Plymouth, Bonita Johnson and her husband, Steve, of Jefferson, Carolyn Burgason and her husband, Barry, of Old Town, Dianne Cavoly and her husband, David, of Bangor and Joseph Rolland Jr. of Corinth; several grandchildren and one great-grandson; two brothers, Walter and Frank; two sisters, Rose Marie and Dottie; a special friend and caregiver, Priscilla Fish. Friends are welcome to call 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, with the Rev. Gertrude Stone, pastor of New Hope Hospice, officiating. Spring interment will be in Mount Pleasant Catholic Cemetery, Bangor.
