PLEASANT PT. and PERRY Mary Lou Tomah, 70, of Pleasant Point passed away Oct. 22, 2004, at a Bangor Hospital. She was born July 27, 1934, at Pleasant Point, the daughter of Horace Lola and Madeline Dana. She is survived by three daughters; Joyce Tomah of Pleasant Point, Frances Fitzsimmons and husband, Robert, of Perry, Beverly Jillson and husband, Carl, of Pleasant Point; two sons, Frederick Tomah Jr. and friend, Joann O’Grady, of Eastport, Tony LaCoute and wife, Shirley, of Eastport; 16 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; two special nephews, Richard “Moses” Lewey, and godchild, Tom Lewey; sisters, Theresa Downing, Anna Harnois, Estella Neptune, Pauline Neptune, Helen Zilenski and Lucille Moore. She was predeceased by her husband, Fred Tomah Sr.; one son, Richard Tomah; one brother, Paul LaCoute; and her loving sisters, Irene Lewey, Edna Gabriel, Mary C. Lola and Angela Barnes. Friends and family may call at the Richard Lewey residence Sunday and Monday, Oct. 24 and 25. A mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Pleasant Point with Rev. Gaffey celebrant, interment in the Passamaquoddy Tribal Cemetery.
