WEST ENFIELD – Myrtle Grace “Nana” Plourde, 87, died July 18, 2005, at a Howland healthcare facility. Nana was born Sept. 15, 1917, in Winn, the daughter of Louis and Margaret (Shannon) Albert. Myrtle was a wonderful loving mother and grandmother. She dedicated most of her time and life to her family. All you had to do was mention a pie, mending, knitting or crocheting and she would do it immediately. Her loving hands made many quilts, tablecloths, you name it, she did it. She taught her great-granddaughter, Kacey, to make cornflake crust pie and homemade filling. We will always remember her every time we share these special treats. Our home has had a blessed candle burning for 19 years, day and night. This will be continued for her in our home. Myrtle was the wife of the late George R.
