SEBEC – Nathaniel A. Davis, 65, husband of Sally (Perkins) Davis, died March 9, 2006, at a Dover-Foxcroft nursing home. He was born March 31, 1940, in Danbury, Conn., the son of Nathaniel A. and Winona (Bennett) Davis Sr. Nate was a mechanic by trade and especially enjoyed building stock cars. He also enjoyed attending tractor pulls. He is survived by his wife, Sally of Sebec; a son, Nathan and his wife, Kathy Davis, of Ohio; two daughters, Laura and her husband, Brian Sanborn, of Sangerville, Lisa Spencer of Ohio; two sisters, Peggy Brown of New Hampshire, Carol Disbrow of California; and four grandchildren, Scott Spencer, Jennifer Sanborn, Tristan Sanborn and Brandon Sanborn. He will be remembered by a special friend and tutor, Edna Roberts. Nate’s family is very appreciative of the loving care he received from his Pine Tree Hospice caregivers and at Hibbard Nursing Home. A memorial service will be conducted 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 14, at the Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft, with Pastor Ray Beless, officiating.
