FORT KENT – Norman Madore, 73, died June 1, 2006, at a Fort Kent healthcare facility. He was born June 14, 1932, in Fort Kent, the son of Herbie and Edith (Saucier) Madore. Norman served in the U.S. Army from 1951-1953. He lived and worked in Connecticut most of his adult life and after retiring he moved back to Fort Kent. He is survived by one son, Robert Madore of Waterbury, Conn.; one daughter, Bonnie Jean Kelly of Southington, Conn.; one sister, Patricia Johnston of Reading, Pa.; and one grandson, Dylan Kelly. Friends may call 8 a.m. Wednesday until time of funeral services at the Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Committal services with full military honors will be celebrated in the parish cemetery.
