KINGMAN – Orman “Bud” W. Perry, 78, husband of Patricia “Tish” A. Perry, died May 15, 2008, at a Lincoln hospital, after complications from pneumonia. His family finds great comfort in knowing that he is with his Lord and Savior. Orman was born June 29, 1929, in Sherman Mills, the son of A. Phil and Estella Perry. He enjoyed the Red Sox, Patriots and Celtics. Orman served in the U.S. Navy for four years and retired from Great Northern Paper in 1986, after 31 years. He enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren play sports. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Patricia (Osgood) Perry; five children and their families, Frank and Deena Perry of Sherman Mills and children, Andrea, Jennifer and Timothy; Phil and Judy Perry and Courtney, all of East Millinocket; Norma and Clark Stecher of Brewer and children, Sasha, Ana and Dominic; Gayle and Mark Harris of Brewer and children, Katie, Mark Jr. and Kerri; and Celia Perry of San Antonio; and four great-grandchildren, Ben, Josh and Jacob Perry and Jackson McNally. He was predeceased by all of his brothers and sisters. At Orman’s request, there will be no funeral services. Those who wish to donate in his memory may contribute to a charity of one’s choice.
