DEXTER – Paul Joseph Cyr, 52, died March 11, 2005 at a Bangor hospital following a brief illness. He was born Aug. 9, 1952, at Dexter, a son of Eloi and Rose (Martinelli) Cyr. He was a graduate of Nokomis Regional High and was a self-employed carpenter. Paul was an avid outdoorsman, especially enjoying hunting and fishing. He was a past member of the Dexter Jaycees and also enjoyed motorcycling with his friends. He is survived by two daughters, Angela Cyr of Weymouth, Mass. and Ashley Cyr of Dexter; two sisters, Frances and husband, Milton Kirk, of Pittsfield, Lea and husband, Keith Worster, of Dexter; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; his stepbrother, Reginald Cyr; and a daughter, Amanda Cyr. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Monday, March 14, at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 61 Main St., Dexter, with the Rev. Fr. Raymond Morency, officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of the services. Spring burial will be in the family lot, Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
