PRESQUE ISLE – Pauline E. Bean, 80, died Sunday Dec. 18, 2005, at a Presque Isle healthcare facility. She was born May 30, 1925, at Presque Isle, the daughter of Roy A. and Annie (Ranks) Reed. She was a member of the Parkhurst Siding Helping Hands Club and the women’s circle at the Grant Memorial Methodist Church in Presque Isle. Pauline was predeceased by her husband in 1993, Kenneth; three brothers, Kenneth, Ralph, and Vernon Reed; two sisters, Margaret Moriski and Vera Sullivan. She is survived by three daughters and their husbands, Joanna and Harvey Oest of Cape Elizabeth, Judy Lee and Duane O’Neal of Belgrade, and Joyce Bean of Presque Isle; eight grandchildren and their spouses, Tracy Jo and Randy Robinson, Tawny Jo and Steve Olore, Todd and Noelle Hunter, Eric Oest, Rachel and David Zehner, Rebecca and Daniel Duprey, Margo O’Neal, Micah and Pamela O’Neal; six great-grandchildren, a brother, Willard “Buddy” Reed; four sisters, Melvina Bruce, Beatrice Allen, Lucille Crane, and Maxine Casebere. Funeral Services will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, at the Grant Memorial Methodist Church, Fleetwood Street, Presque Isle, with the Dr. Rev. Thomas Blackstone officiating. Relatives and friends may call 2 p.m. until time of service at the church. Spring interment will be at Fairmount Cemetery.
