CARIBOU – Pauline Marie Michaud, 80, wife of the late Albay Michaud, died Nov. 15, 2005, at a Caribou healthcare facility. She was born Dec. 21, 1924, at Lille, the daughter of Damasse and Melvina (Vaillancourt) Godin. Pauline was a loving and devoted wife and mother to her family. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph H. Michaud and his wife, Amy, of Old Town and Joseph A. Michaud Jr. and his wife, Betty, of Caribou; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Viola Wilkes and her husband, Dean, of Jefferson, Ga., Nancy Cyr of Canton, Ga. and Verna Hewitt and her husband, Mark, of Old Town; two brothers, Armand Godin and Archie Godin, both of Caribou; three sisters, Jeannine Fortin, Noella Deschine and Debbie Chabre, all of Caribou; 22 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Linda Byram; and an infant daughter, Verna Michaud. Friends may call noon until time of services, which will be held 1 p.m. from the chapel of the funeral home, Wednesday, Nov. 16, at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou, with the Fr. David Raymond, associate pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the New Holy Rosary Cemetery.
