DOVER-FOXCROFT – Phillip R. Pickering Sr., 60, husband of Rosalie Ann (Las-sen) Pickering, died Jan. 12, 2008, at his residence. He was born Sept. 20, 1947, in Laconia, N.H., the son of Ellsworth E. and Elvira (Nudd) Pickering. Mr. Pickering was a retired U.S. Army veteran, and ser-ved in Korea and Vietnam. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and especially enjoyed carpentry. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Rosalie of Dover-Foxcroft; his children, Philip Roy Pickering Jr. and Jason Pickering, both of New Hampshire, Phillip Allen Pickering Sr. and Allen Emerson Pickering, both of Canaan, Crystal Lynn Pickering of Dover-Foxcroft, Angel Marie (Pickering) Walker of Berlin, N.H., and Cindy Anne Lewis of Milo, and their respective families; his mother, Elvira Pickering of Hanover, N.H.; three brothers, Ellsworth Pickering Jr. of Huntingbury, Ind., Robert Pickering of Vermont and Reginald Pickering of Ashland, N.H.; eight sisters, Betty Tatham of Enfield, N.H., Shirleen Latuch of Plymouth, N.H., Kathleen Beauchene of Plainfied, N.H., Elizabeth Hughes of New Bedford, Mass., Dolly Parent of Belmont, N.H., Mary Gage of New Boston, N.H., Carolyn Truell of Meredith, N.H., and Judy Blodgett of Franklin, N.H.; six grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Donna Hughes. He was predeceased by his father; and two brothers, Mau-rice and Fredrick Pickering.
