NEWBURGH – Priscilla R. Fish, 65, passed away April 23, 2007, surrounded by her family at her home. She was born Feb. 24, 1942, the daughter of the late Winifred and Percy Ryant. Before retiring, Priscilla worked as a private care attendant for Eastern Agency on Aging, where she provided comfort and peace to the ones she looked after. She enjoyed bowling, her flower gardens, picnics at Swan Lake and mostly spending time with her family. A friend to many, she will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, courage and strength, her great sense of humor, her laughter and her smile. She won the jackpot in the lottery of love in the hearts of the ones left behind. Her children are thankful for the countless gifts she gave us including love, laughter, faith, giving us dreams and the courage to believe in them, her kind heart, always being there and for showing us what love truly is. You will live forever in our hearts. She was predeceased by her husband, Norman L. Fish of Newburgh; a brother, Robert Ryant; and a sister, Ruth Hannington. She is survived by her son, Eddie Rideout Jr. and his wife, Susan; grandsons, Ben and Doug of Hermon; daughter, Pam Rideout of Bangor; son, Michael Rideout and his wife, Sharon; granddaughter, Angela of Newburgh; son, Bobby Rideout and his wife, Missy; granddaughters, Tiffany and Darcy of Winterport; son, Richard Fish and his wife, Sherri; grandson, Kevin of Bangor; special friends, Bill and Melanie Cushman; and cat, Curley Burley of Newburgh; sister, Rosalie Pelletier and her husband, Dick, of Massachusetts; sister, Kay Bigwood and her husband, Everett, of Arizona; sister, Gerry Hogan of Massachusetts; brother, Thomas Ryant and his wife, Helen, of Massachusetts, and many nieces and nephews. A service of thanksgiving and remembrance for the life of Priscilla will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden, with the Rev. Robert T. Carlson officiating. Family and friends may visit 11 a.m. Saturday until time of service 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private at Hill Cemetery, Newburgh.
