PITTSFIELD and BANGOR The Rev. Paul Kerns, 62, passed away Saturday evening, June 23, 2007, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born April 4, 1945, in Biddeford. Some of his many assignments included St. Mary’s Parish, Bangor; St. Ann, Indian Island and St. Ann, Bradley. In 2006, Father Paul was the administrator of St. Agnes, Pittsfield. A memorial Mass for Father Kerns will be celebrated 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 9, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Indian Island, with the Rev. Bill Labbe, celebrant. All are welcome to a reception at the parish hall after the Mass. Birmingham Funeral Home.
