MILLINOCKET and BRISTOL, Conn. – Richard L. Michaud, 65, died at a Bristol hospital on Monday, Oct. 18, 2004. He was born March 24, 1939, in Millinocket, the son of Lee and Alice Virginia (Lynch) Michaud. Richard was a graduate of Stearns High School, Class of 1958. He moved to Bristol, Conn., where he worked for many years until his recent illness. Richard believed in a strong work ethic. He was an ardent sports enthusiast and enjoyed music, especially the contemporary sounds of Nat King Cole, Johnny Mathis, and Frank Sinatra. He is survived by his parents of Millinocket; his children, Brent, Kelli, Susan, Missy, and Mark; two sisters, June Pelletier of Millinocket and Sherry and husband, Bryant Davis, of Millinocket; two brothers; Lee and wife, Yvonne Michaud, of Gorham and Stephen and wife, Sharon Michaud, of Greenville, S.C.; several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2004 at Millinocket Cemetery.
