PRESQUE ISLE – Robert O. Miller Sr., 75, passed away July 3, 2007, at a Presque Isle hospital. He was born Sept. 21, 1931, in Chicago, the son of William and Mable (Kash) Miller Sr. Robert graduated from high school and joined the U.S. Air Force, serving his country during the Korean War. After his discharge from the military, he was employed at various businesses, and in his spare time enjoyed fishing. Robert was a member of the VFW and the American Legion, and an attendee of the Presque Isle Weselyan Church. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Miller of Presque Isle; two daughters and their husbands, Kathie and James Lawrence of Belvidere, Ill., and Elaine and Dale Musgrave of Dover, N.C.; two sons, Robert and Debbie Miller Jr. of St. Charles, Ill., and Ronald Miller of Aurora, Ill.; 12 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; a brother, William Miller Jr. of Wisconsin; a sister, Charlene Powers of Florida; sister-in-law, Shirley Haines of Connecticut; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Joyce and Daniel Fletcher of Presque Isle; and two special cats, Fluffy and Gray Gray. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Delores and Arlett. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, with Pastor Roy Wright officiating. Friends may call 1 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Interment will take place after the service at Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle.
