BANGOR – Roger H. Dow Sr., 71, passed away March 12, 2005, at the Maine Veterans Home, in Bangor, after an extended illness. He was born Jan. 27, 1934, in East Machias, the son of the late Herbert and Fannie (Farnsworth) Dow. Roger retired from the U.S. Air Force after having served more than 20 years. He loved Bingo. Roger was a loving and wonderful Dad and Granddad to his family. He is survived by his children: daughter, Tammi Latouche and husband, Derek, of Pennsylvania, daughter, Linda Hill and husband, Allen, of Texas, son, Roger Dow Jr. and wife, Melissa, of Bangor, daughter, Mona McLaughlin and husband, Allen, of Bangor, daughter, Lori Sampson and husband, David, of Bangor, and daughter, Wanda Lawless, of Texas; 15 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Frances Salines of Texas; and special friend and cousin, Everett Farnsworth, of East Machias. He was predeceased by a brother, William Dow; and a sister, Dorothy Huntley. A private burial will take place at Jacksonville Cemetery in East Machias. Arrangements are under the care of Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, Machias.
