BANGOR – Roselle W. Boynton, 83, wife, mother and grandmother, died March 25, 2006, at a local nursing home. She was born March 8, 1923, in Brewer, the daughter of Joseph and Winifred (Jordan) Legassey. During World War II, Roselle worked in Portland as the chief of clerks at the induction center and later as a Signal Corps secretary at Dow Airfield in Bangor. She enjoyed her many evenings with the Saturday Nighters and the many functions with her husband, Guy, at the Bangor Knights of Columbus. Roselle worked with her husband at W.H. Gorham Co., Bangor. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Bangor. She is survived by one son, Michael and his wife, Rose, of Veazie; two daughters, Gina Boynton and her friend, Tim Edwards, of Kenduskeag and Colleen and her husband, Troy Dumond, of Brewer; three grandchildren, Rick and his wife, Julie Allen, Mike Allen and Mandi Dumond; one sister-in-law, Ila Peters. She was predeceased by her husband, Guy Boynton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Bangor. Interment will follow in the family lot at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Friends may call 9 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the Greenlawn Memorial Funeral Home, 300 State St., Bangor.
