SEARSPORT – Sally McDonald LeBlanc, 52, of Searsport, went home to be with the Lord on April 25, 2005, at a local health care facility. She was born, the youngest of three daughters, Sept. 6, 1952, in Vinalhaven, to Harold and Audrey McDonald. She is survived by her kind and loving husband, Rick LeBlanc, of Searsport; a son, Michael Lloyd, of Las Vegas, Nev., who was with her during the last months of her illness; a son, Theo LeBlanc, of Searsport; and a stepdaughter, Adrianne LeBlanc, of Belfast; two sisters, Delores McDonald of Hawaii, and Maxine Martin of Searsport; and her father and stepmother, Harold and June McDonald of Vinalhaven. She was predeceased in December 2001 by her mother, Audrey McDonald of Vinalhaven. Sally taught elementary school in Brooks and Monroe for many years and was currently home-schooling her 10 year-old son, Theo. She was a member of the Searsport Full Gospel Church and served as Sunday School Teacher and Christian Education Director for many years. She loved the Lord and her family very much. She greatly enjoyed life and the beauties of nature. She will be greatly missed by her family, her Church, and her many friends. Visiting hours will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 29, at Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast. A celebration of Sally’s life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 30 at Searsport Full Gospel Church, Main St. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Christian Education Ministry of the Searsport Full Gospel Church, P.O.
