MILBRIDGE – Sarah B. Strout, 85, died Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004, at a Milbridge healthcare facility. She was born April 12, 1919, in Harrington, the daughter of Enoch and Alzena (Brown) Burgess. Sarah was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Cherryfield and the Milbridge and Pomona Granges. She is survived by two children, Marion Rolfe and her husband, Wesley, of Gouldsboro and Eugene Strout of Bangor; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Strout in 1988; and a granddaughter, Alzena Rolfe in 1963. Friends are invited to visit with the family 2-4 p.m. Saturday at the Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Milbridge, where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Ambrose Rolfe officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Milbridge. A memorial register is available online at Legacy.com.
