BANGOR and ORLAND – Sean T. Barry, 36, died May 9, 2004, at Bangor. He was born Oct. 24, 1968, in Hartford, Conn., the son of Josephine C. (Cronin) and Michael J. Barry Jr. Sean was a graduate of Bucksport High School, was formerly employed by Atkins Printing Services, Waterville, and was presently employed by the Bangor Daily News. He had mechanic and carpentry skills, enjoyed being outside with his friends and spending time on Alamoosook Lake. Sean is survived by his mother, Josephine C. Barry, of Orland; his longtime special companion, Vicki Barry of Bangor; two brothers, Michael J. Barry and special companion, Catherine Beal of Orland, and Kevin P. Barry and wife, Janine, of Ellsworth; nieces and nephews, Erin, Colin, Kyle, Jordan, and Zachary; stepson, Marshall Comtois; uncle, John Cronin of Manchester, Conn.; several cousins and many friends. Sean was predeceased by his father, Michael J. Barry, Jr. in 1999. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday, May 17, 2004, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Ellsworth. Interment will be in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery, Orland. A gathering for conversation and refreshment will immediately follow the service in the church parish hall.
