LINCOLN and BROOKSVILLE, Fla. – Shirley Davis Bates Tyler, 68, died Sept. 9, 2007, at a Brooksville, Fla., hospital. She was born the daughter of Wilson and Madeline Leighton Davis. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 38 years, Robert E. Tyler; her 10 children, Cynthia Ginn, Vanessa, Peter, David, Thomas Bates, Scott Tyler, Rachel Worster, Rhonda Jette, Robert and Russell Tyler; 20 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; a brother, Albert and his wife, Linda Davis; sister, Irene and husband, Jeff Gifford; brother, Thomas Cravalho; brother-in-law, Kenneth and wife, Martha Tyler; also a very special Aunt Colleen Pomeray; and best friend, Betty Batchelder. She will be loved and missed by all. Graveside services will be held at a later date.
