SHERMAN – Shirley J. Tozier, 70, of Sherman, died April 29, 2005, at her home. She was born Jan. 14, 1935, in Wyndotte, Okla., the daughter of Joe and Corda (Gunnels) Holt. Shirley was a retired U.S. Postal employee. In addition to her mother of Dalles, Ore., she is survived by her husband of 48 years, Edwin Tozier of Sherman; two daughters, Janell and her husband, David Anthony, of Alton, Vicky and her husband, Jim Perz, of Sherman; five grandchildren, Amanda, Michelle, Dustin, Sara, and Katie; one great-granddaughter, Brooke; five brothers and sisters, Jim, Mary, Carolyn, Joe and Corda. She was predeceased by her father, and one brother, Bill. Friends may call 2-3 p.m. Monday, May 2, 2005, at Calvary Baptist Church, Sherman Station, where funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Michael Brooker officiating. Interment will be held in the Golden Ridge Cemetery, Sherman. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may donate to the Salvation Army or the charity of ones choice, care of Bowers Funeral Home, P.O.
