CARIBOU – Shirley Mary Everett, 71, wife of the late Morgan Everett, died unexpectedly Jan. 29, 2007, at her residence. She was born May 23, 1935, in Limestone, the daughter of Edmound D. and Helen (Wilcox) Rossignol. Shirley attended Caribou schools and worked for Tater State in Washburn, nursing homes in Georgia, and various schools in Florida. She married Morgan Douglas Everett, Aug. 15, 1950. She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Douglas and Trina Everett of Washburn and Roger Everett of Michigan; one daughter and son-in-law, Lorina and Martin Skiver of Dahlonega, Ga.; two brothers, Robert C. Rossignol of Woodland and Dale E. Rossignol and his wife, Falicia, of Washburn; three sisters, Pheobe A. Clayton and her husband, George, of Caribou, Mary E. Butler and her husband, Robert, of Woodland and Elaine M. Grant and her husband, Calvin, of Florida; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews She was predeceased by her parents, her husband; a daughter, Peggy Sue Everett; and a brother, Howard E. Rossignol. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 2, from the chapel of Mockler Funeral Home with the Rev. John Palmer officiating. Spring interment will be at Woodland Cemetery.
